Springbank Snow Countess Monument This monument honors a record-setting milk producing Holstein Freisian cow. The life size concrete statue was designed by Ross Butler and was unveiled August 4, 1937. The cow produced 9,062 pounds of butterfat which was quite impressive at the time. Jumbo Monument In 1885, P.T. Barnum's circus featured an unusually large elephant named Jumbo. Unfortunately, while in St. Thomas, Jumbo was killed by a train. In 1985, a life-sized monument of Jumbo was erected in memory of this horrible tragedy. Address: . St Thomas ON Canada
